Christmas Play

Our Christmas play; 'Not Such A Silent Night' is on Tuesday the 9th of December at 1:50pm in the hall. 

We have been busy practicing over the last few weeks. We hope you can come and see us perform next Tuesday! 

If you are making or buying a costume, please bring it in this week as we will be having a dress rehearsal at the end of the week.

Science Week Winners

Well done to Sara, Roy, Brian, Darragh, Noah and Daniel who were all presented with certificates for different competitions during science week. 

Chilly Charlie the Penguin

This week we made these lovely penguins! Charlie the penguin is very chilly! He wears a scarf and earmuffs to keep warm! 

Gaelic Football

On Thursday we played Gaelic Football with our coach Barry. This week we practiced the skills of kicking and soloing.

 

Science Week

Over the last couple of days we have been doing various experiments for science week. We investigated the weight of potatoes, tried to identify seeds from different fruits, guessed the weight of a pumpkin and of course had a paper aeroplane competition! Today we went on a visit to the school hall where there was a selection of stations for us to explore. Some of the things we did included examining different fruits, identifying insects and dinosaurs and looking at the different parts of the body. Have a look at the pictures below!

School Book Fair

Don't forget that the school book fair is on this week. There are hundreds of books on sale at much reduced prices! 

The day for 1st class is Thursday between 9am and 10:30am. 

Gaelic Football

This Thursday our Gaelic Football training begins!

Barry will be coming in to do Gaelic Football with us on the 13th, 20th and 27th of November and again on the 8th, 15th and 22nd of January.

Don't forget to wear your tracksuit on these Thursdays!
